So, you’re very tired from celebrating The Big Day. You probably feel like the fella on the floor here (I know, I’ve used him as well as the cat in previous posts). Best solution is to a.) lie on the sofa with a book or b.) go out and get some exercise. If you’re in Paris, go to the Jardin du Luxembourg and play with the toy boats.
This is how the dogs feel. I ran into a golden who had been shaved. He was cool but weird looking.
Court tennis, I think.
Merry Christmas! As you can see from this New York Times photo it is so balmy in NYC that some flowers have burst into bloom. Simply heavenly.
I’ve included some photos to amuse / delight you.
Hopefully your Christmas preparations are winding down. I’m just wrapping up (pardon the pun) mine. Have fun this Christmas. No one but you will notice any imperfections. Martha Stewart is not going to drop by to see how it all looks. Enjoy your family, because that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?
Now that the tree is up and the lights are strung you can savor the decorating of the tree. Here you see my stash of of needlepoint ornaments made over the years. And, as always, more Christmas lights. And Christmas cookies.
It’s so nice here in NYC (57 degrees – where on earth is the degree symbol on the keyboard??) you could enjoy lunch outside while you’re out getting your tree.
Have some cheer and then go home and tackle the lights.
